Priced to pay for itself.
A traditional agency quotes £3,000–£8,000 for a website and walks away. We build, host, maintain and evolve a full client generation platform for less than the cost of a billable hour a month.
All prices plus VAT. One-off setup, then monthly or annual billing. No long contracts.
Feature comparison
Do the maths on one instruction
The average consultant solicitor invoice sits comfortably above £1,000. Authority is £49/month — that's £588/year, plus a one-off £99 setup.
If the site brings you one instruction a year you are already well ahead. If it brings you one a quarter, you are printing. If it brings you one a month, you are laughing all the way to chambers.
Compare that to the alternative: spending 15–20 hours building something yourself. At consultant rates that's £5,000–£7,000 of billable time you've set on fire — and the result will still look like a 2008 law firm website.
Straight answers
Will the site look generic, like every other template?+
No. Every site is a different combination of colour theme, font pairing and style bundle — over 100 possible looks. Your copy is written for you, not spun from a template. Two solicitors on the same tier will never have sites that look or read the same.
Will it actually rank on Google?+
That is literally the whole point. Solicitor.Law was founded by Steven Mather, a practising solicitor who has spent 20+ years building sites that generate work. His own site (stevenmather.co.uk) has 38+ pages ranking on page one and gets 176,000 impressions a month from Google. The entire Solicitor.Law platform — schema markup, clean URLs, fast hosting, real content, near-perfect Google PageSpeed scores — is built on what works.
What if I want changes?+
Content updates are included on Growth and above. Outside those, we turn changes around fast — same day on Bespoke, within a week on lower tiers. You email; we do it. No ticketing system, no account managers.
Am I locked in?+
No. No long contracts. Cancel with 30 days' notice and the site goes dark. Stay because it brings you work, not because you're stuck.
Is it SRA compliant?+
Yes — built in, not bolted on. Regulatory footer, transparency rules, PII display, complaints procedure, privacy and cookies pages are all included and maintained as the rules change. You don't have to think about it.
What's the difference between this and a £3,000 agency website?+
A £3,000 agency website is a one-off. They build it, invoice, disappear, and two years later it's out of date. solicitor.law is a platform — we host, maintain, update and evolve the site continuously, and you own the copy and brand. And it costs a fraction of the price.
I'm not actually a solicitor. Can I still use this?+
Not on the solicitor.law platform — it's SRA-specific. But we build the same kind of client generation system for any professional services firm. Email Steven for a bespoke quote.
Not a solicitor, but want the same system?
We build bespoke client generation platforms for professional services firms — without the solicitor.law branding. Email Steven for a quote tailored to your firm.
